We develop and commercialize high‑integrity carbon credits.

How we work

We connect forest communities with global buyers and help companies advance their climate transition through our end-to-end model.

How can we help you?

EcoForest CO₂ covers the full path of a carbon project. We originate it with communities and landowners, build its integrity, and take the credits to buyers ourselves. Because we are part of EcoForest Group and work alongside DUA Net Zero Consulting, we can offer companies an end-to-end solution: from the first field visit to a corporate climate strategy.

  • Project development

We design and develop nature-based projects across forests, grasslands, and renewable energy. We handle origination, project design, field inventories, carbon modeling, and registration under recognized standards.

  • Selling Carbon Credits and I-RECs / CELs

We sell high‑integrity carbon credits, iRECs, and other environmental attributes directly to buyers and through the platforms that reach markets a single project could not. You tell us the type, geography, and standard you need, and we source, verify, and deliver.

  • Corporate strategies

Through DUA Net Zero Consulting, we help companies measure their footprint, set targets, and build a credible path to decarbonization, with our credits as one piece of a wider plan.

  • Why EcoForest CO₂

Owning the project and the sale is what lets us protect the community, defend the integrity of the credit, and stand behind every ton.

Projects

How we work

  1. We identify communities, ejidos, and landowners, build trust, and agree on a fair structure where the people who steward the land keep the largest share.

  2. We design the project, run field forest inventories, and build the carbon baseline and model.

  3. We register under recognized standards, run robust MRV with permanent plots and continuous field measurement, and complete third party verification.

  4. We take the credits to buyers directly, with spot transactions, forward and offtake agreements, and long-term partnerships, tailored to volume, vintage, and price.

  5. We measure and report the environmental, social, and economic results, then feed what we learn back into the next cycle.

The process does not end at the sale. For our buyers, we also deliver a report on how the resources were used, so they can see where the money goes and how it reached the community. Then the cycle repeats, and each round raises governance, impact, and the value of the project.

Trading Desk

Access to high‑integrity carbon credits in Mexico.

Buying carbon credits carries real risk. Our job is to take it off your desk: four years on the ground in Mexico gave us direct relationships with developers, communities, and ejidos that international buyers cannot easily reach, plus the local technical capacity most desks abroad do not have.

Five risks we cover in every purchase

  • Delivery risk

Will they be delivered on time?

Aggregated, pre-vetted supply that is already identified, known, and validated at scale, so credits arrive on time and in the volume you need.

  • Permanence risk

Does the project hold real permanence?

We verify that a project holds real, lasting carbon, not a number on a page.

  • Impact risk

Is the impact real in the field, or only on paper?

We know Mexico, and we know which projects create real change in the field and which do not. You get the ones that do.

  • Resource-use risk

Does your money do what you intended?

We show you who the developers are, where the projects sit, and how the resources are used, so your money does what you intended.

  • Quality risk

Are you buying quality, or a superficial offset?

With local due diligence at the project level and the actor level, your purchase is a real one from a quality project, not a superficial offset.

Custom sourcing. Give us your criteria—project type, geography, location, standard, rating, and volumes—and we handle sourcing, diligence, and delivery.

Companies like Siemens, BBVA, and more already buy through us, alongside forward agreements that secure long-term supply of high‑integrity credits at a fair, preferential price.

Communities and land stewards

  • Tepehuanos
  • San Miguel
  • Gavilanes
  • + to be confirmed

With global impact and Mexican roots, our projects improve the ecosystems and the communities of the Sierra Madre in Durango and the plains of the Chihuahuan desert. We know the territory, we understand the communities, and we work with ejidos, communal lands, indigenous communities, and private owners as partners, not suppliers.

Governance

When we work with a community, we strengthen its internal governance and protect its long-term interests. We structure projects and sales so the people who steward the land always keep the largest benefit.

Co-benefits and biodiversity

Every credit we sell carries measurable co-benefits beyond carbon: restored biodiversity, protected watersheds, and real social development for the families who live in and care for the territory. In Villa Ahumada, our projects support more than 50 families out of poverty and give 200+ children access to education with proper infrastructure, alongside seven Sustainable Development Goals. Healthy forests and grasslands are worth more standing. Our job is to make that true for the people who keep them standing.

Our team

The people behind every project, in the field and in front of buyers.
